Old apartment revamped into a East Coast urban family residence 舊公寓搖身成為東岸都會美寓

一家四口，近期買下新北市新莊區的四十年舊公寓。不想要過度裝修，但因為老公為在台灣教書的美國人，因此在風格和需求上希望能適合美式家庭居住的簡約風格。

原本租屋的家庭，希望能沿用大部分包括沙發的家具之外，老公寓的裝修基礎工程的更新也是在風格外觀之外的另一個需求重點。在軟裝裝飾上面，DDV希望能保持美式的風格，但確盡量讓空間輕盈不繁重。

廚房是這次裝修的重點之一，希望在原有廚房的規模基礎上，能創造出更大的工作空間。主臥和小孩房間以輕柔的背景色定調，主要利用家具家飾打造溫馨的氣息。此專案的工程包含了以下項目，並且以舊公寓翻新的條件下，費用上也控制得合理親民！

A family of four recently purchased a 40-year-old apartment in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City. They aim to renovate it into a light American-style home that suits their needs, without excessive remodeling. Given that the husband is an American teaching in Taiwan, the design should cater to an American family's preferences. The family wishes to retain most of their existing furniture, including the sofa, from their previous rental. In addition to aesthetic updates, they prioritize essential renovations to the apartment's infrastructure. For soft furnishings, they prefer to maintain an American style while keeping the space light and uncluttered. The kitchen is a focal point of the renovation; they hope to expand the workspace within the existing kitchen's footprint. The master and children's bedrooms will feature soft background colors, with warmth introduced primarily through furniture and décor.
